This Thanksgiving marked 10 years since the death of Eunice's dad, Santa. Ryan, Eunice, and Eunice's mom Terry flew up to Vancouver to visit Santa's grave and to spend time with relatives.

Despite the cold and rain that welcomes us to Vancouver, we bring roses, poinsettas, and a holiday wreath to place at Santa's gravesite on our first day.

Eunice, Terry, and Aunt Angela say a few prayers of thanksgiving in memory of Santa's life.

Santa is burried next to his mother, Soat Yang Lin.

Afterwards, we warm up at a delicious dim sum restaurant. Pictured in the front row are Uncle Frank (Santa's brother), Terry, and Aunt Angela (Frank's wife).

What else is on the agenda for this trip? Well, we eat a yummy home-cooked meal of "hot pot"...

...Devour fresh crab for lunch in North Vancouver...

...Tackle more crab, lobster, mussels, and oysters at the Cannery...

Then, we head over to the International Ice Cream Factory where we sample a hefty number of their 280 flavors, including oddities like jalepeno chocolate, pear & gargonzola, and durian gelato. Wow.

...And no trip to Vancouver is complete without a trip down memory lane for burgers and a milkshake at White Spot, one of Eunice's childhood favorites!

We stop by "Global Links," Cousin Wayne's business. After giving us some cool Global Links apparel, Wayne (standing between Terry and Eunice) shows us his warehouse.

We also catch up with Cousin Jully and her family. Back Row: Ryan, Aunt Angela, Terry. Front row: Cousin Jully, Jully's husband Johnny, their youngest son Justin, and Eunice

Ryan finally finds someone more excited about Goggle Earth than him when he boots up his laptop to show Jonathan (Jully and Johnny's older son) where California is on a map...

We coincidentally arrive in Vancouver for the beginning of "Grey Cup," Canada's Super Bowl equivalent and are catch some of the festivities, including the kick-off parade and street fair.

Next, we head on a public ferry over to North Vancouver.

Eunice enjoys the view.

Cousin Dolly (far right) joins us for a stroll to Canada Place, a docked convention center with great views of the water and surrounding areas.

We rush across town to see the other side of the bay.

Beaches, mountains... doesn't this make you want to live in Vancouver?

Eunice and Terry take a nap on the early morning ferry ride to Vancouver Island.

Ryan and Terry enjoy the views from the deck of the ferry.

On the drive back to catch the ferry home, we duck out of the car every few minutes to explore.

Back on the ferry, and then back to the Bay Area... farewell Vancouver!
